Hello, I am a barter affiliate. I have found barter a very great way to get new customers to my shop. While I do not collect cash because it is a barter transaction. I am only out the money for my supplies, and since I am charging maximum cost for my services on barter, I have been able to buy great advertising that I would have not been able to buy. These have been clients I would have never seen unless they found me on the barter website. Also since these clients tend to be other businesses, they have been a great source of referral. I find client referral to be the best source of advertising bar none.
My Trade America has been the best Barter company that I have used. Others have acted fraudulently in dealings. A few hundred years ago, Steve Halen’s business card might have said “Have Cows, Will Trade.”

Today, Halen and his wife, Rhonda, employ a tidier form of the age-old commerce system known as bartering, or trading. For the past year, the Wildomar couple has been signing up clients for their fledgling online barter service called My Trade America.

“Barter has seen tremendous growth in the last couple of years because businesses are trying to survive and they’re looking for every possible avenue they can find to do that,” said Halen, 49. “This gives them another source of revenue and clientele.”
